Car history:
I have for sale a very original 1968 Corvette Big Block. I am not an expert on all
the different parts on this car but I believe most to be original parts with very few
exceptions. Right down to the original key and owners manual. Everything is in
top running order and ready to drive. Motor runs great and transmission shifts
smoothly. I had the car painted when I bought it and replaced what it needed in
the interior (seats, carpet, door panels). As you can see from the pictures the
rest of the interior was in great shape.

I have never registered the car. My guess is that the owner before me was the
second or third. He did have the motor gone thru in 1986 (Have the receipts).
When I bought the car it had been setting for a few years. He hadn't done much to
it which was great. Car sat and nobody started changing or taking the original
parts off it. Like I stated previously, just needed some paint and interior work.
Still has the original smog stuff on the header exhaust which everyone took off on
day one to get more horsepower.

Door tag states the paint trim 988 Cordovan Maroon, and interior trim 420 saddle
vinyl. If you look up the colors codes for 1968 you will see that 420 interior was
not a choice for interior until 1969. I believe this was a late production car (K26),
if I'm correct that would be June 26, 1968. At that later date they did offer some
1969 features. If your familiar with Corvettes of that era you seldom see interiors
of that color. Most were black.

I have enjoyed this car for many years. As much fun fixing up as driving. I would
love to see it go to someone who would enjoy it as much as I have. I think you'll
find it a very nice car. It has been in a heated building since I've owned it.

If you would like to view the car I would be more than happy to show you. Seeing
it in person would really give you the confidence to buy. It really is a nice car!

Thank You for taking the time to view this car.
